Job summary

Sta. Clara International Corp. in Laguna, Paete, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design a high voltage substation based on project requirements.

Responsibilities include evaluating drawings, aligning with site schedules and costs, producing a conceptual SketchUp drawing for client review, and preparing detailed electrical methods of statement with material lists; on-site support as needed.

Qualifications

• B.S. Electrical Engineering is required and a valid PE license is mandatory.
• 2+ years in electrical design or electrical engineering, preferably with construction project exposure.
• Experience with secondary protection and SCADA systems is preferred.
• Ability to develop cable schedules and interface design concepts.

• Evaluates available Structural/Architectural Drawings for Electrical Design.
• Considers Site Planned Schedule and Electrical Budget Cost.
• Presents a Conceptual Drawing using Sketch up or similar for Site Operation and Client/Consultant review.
• Prepares complete Electrical Methods of Statement.
• Provides detailed Material List on each design prepared.
• Provides site assistance if design is complex.
• Other tasks may be assigned from time to time.

• Must be a Licensed Electrical Engineer

• 2+ years of experience in electrical design or electrical engineering (experience in construction projects is preferred).

• Capable of designing secondary design protection, SCADA

• Cable Schedules

• Interface Design
