Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd is looking for an Electrical Engineer (Construction / M&E) to oversee electrical works on-site at Kent Ridge and coordinate with subcontractors. You will review drawings, ensure quality, attend meetings, and ensure projects meet schedules and standards.

Requires a degree and 3+ years in construction or M&E; on-site work and strong BIM/AutoCAD skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant electrical engineering experience in construction or M&E projects.
• Good knowledge of electrical and M&E specifications, technical drawings and site coordination.
• Able to supervise subcontractors and coordinate works against project schedules.
• Knowledge of electrical calculations, BIM, Revit or AutoCAD would be advantageous.
• Able to work fully on-site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors’ electrical works and monitor progress against approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project schedules.
• Review electrical drawings, materials and samples for compliance with project requirements.
• Identify and coordinate the resolution of discrepancies between electrical, mechanical, structural, architectural and interior design drawings.
• Liaise with relevant authorities, clients, contractors and subcontractors on technical submissions and site matters.
• Coordinate work allocation and follow up on outstanding issues to ensure timely project completion.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on work progress and technical issues.
• Ensure works meet the required quality standards and project procedures.

• Position : Electrical Engineer (Construction / M&E)

• Location : Kent Ridge – Fully Site-Based

• Working hours : 5.5 days | Monday to Friday: 8.30am–5.30pm | Saturday: 8.30am–12.30pm Some project sites operate on alternate Saturdays, depending on site arrangements.

• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $6,000 Monthly Basic Salary + Mobile Allowance + Variable Bonus (averaging approximately 1 month, subject to company and individual performance) + 14 Days Annual Leave
