Job summary

San Miguel Global Power is seeking an Electrical Engineer with a valid PRC license to join our project teams in the Philippines. The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience, with strong skills in reading electrical plans, reviewing reports, and preparing estimates.

The role requires familiarity with EPC contracts and a solid background in electrical codes and safety standards. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and independent work are both expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with PRC license.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical projects.
• Proficient reading and interpretation of electrical plans, drawings and diagrams.
• Experience with EPC contracts and related processes.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes (IEEE, IEC, NFPA, NFPA, ASME, Philippine Electrical Code, Philippine Grid Code).
• Experience preparing and reviewing technical reports and estimates.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently with minimal oversight.

• Proficient in MS Project or other related project management software
• At least 3 years of experience
• Well versed in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contracts
• Able to read and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and diagrams
• Strong background in electrical quality standards, codes, and orders i.e. IEEE, IEC, ASTM, NFPA, ASME, Philippine Electrical Code, Philippine Grid Code, etc
• Experience in preparing and reviewing technical reports, write-ups, and electrical estimates.
• Strong practical knowledge and commitment to health and safety
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently with minimal oversight
