About the role

FRONTKEN Philippines Inc. is seeking a talented and dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team in Calamba City, Laguna. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on innovative electrical and electronic engineering projects that drive our business forward. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our products and services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. What you'll be doing

• Design, develop and test electrical systems and components utilising industry-standard tools and methodologies
• Conduct detailed electrical calculations, simulations and analyses to validate system performance and safety
• Prepare technical drawings, schematics and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and company specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, project managers and technicians to ensure seamless project execution
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic testing on electrical equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards and safety regulations throughout all project phases
• Participate in site inspections, commissioning activities and quality assurance testing
• Maintain comprehensive project records and technical documentation for traceability and future reference
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide recommendations for process optimisation

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification from a recognised institution
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or eligibility for licensure in the Philippines
• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, preferably in industrial, manufacturing or electronics sectors
• Strong proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN or similar tools
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, control systems and circuit design
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards and safety regulations applicable in the Philippines and internationally
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong analytical and technical thinking skills
• Proficient in written and verbal communication with the ability to prepare clear technical documentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment whilst managing individual responsibilities
• Preferred experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial automation or electrical project management
