Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Electrical Drafter to support design engineers on drawings and redline markups. You will prepare plan and section drawings and work on single-line diagrams, panel elevations, schematics, and wiring diagrams, applying CAD standards.

You will learn and apply company, client, and project drafting standards while adhering to quality requirements. The role offers collaboration with experienced engineers and opportunities to develop advanced drafting skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Preferably 2 to 4 years of experience in the electrical field.
• Proficiency in CAD software, including Autodesk AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft 365.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Preferred experience in 3D design tools such as Revit or Inventor.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio would be an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical would be an added advantage.
