Job summary

ABB is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead E-House design activities, perform cable sizing, and prepare complex electrical drawings. You will ensure compliance with international/National codes while coordinating with vendors and project teams.

The role requires 5+ years in a related field, proficiency with AutoCAD and ETAP, and experience with data center or rail/offshore projects. Hybrid work model and international standards guidance provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
Experience with switchgear, protection relays and transformers.
Familiarity with IEC/NEC codes; EPLAN is an advantage.
Experience in data center, railway, and onshore/offshore projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and perform activities within the engineering discipline stream for the project.
Carry out detailed design, sizing, and calculations for cables, cable trays, conduits, lighting, UPS, and batteries; verify designs.
Prepare electrical drawings in AutoCAD and create Bills of Materials (BoMs).
Design electrical building services for substations, including lighting, fire alarm systems, and grounding.
Conduct electrical studies using ETAP and ensure timely, quality documentation.
