Job summary

KMZD GROUP is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in Manila to support the development and implementation of electrical designs by preparing layouts, performing engineering calculations, developing CAD drawings, reviewing technical requirements, and coordinating with project stakeholders.

The role requires a Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE), a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Must be a Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE).
• At least 1 year of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary electrical layouts and assist in preparing design documentation.
• Perform electrical calculations and equipment sizing based on project requirements.
• Create and revise electrical drawings using AutoCAD based on design instructions and technical markups.
• Review drawings and identify possible design conflicts, inconsistencies, or technical concerns.
• Assist in evaluating design alternatives and recommend practical engineering solutions.
• Research applicable electrical standards, technical references, and emerging technologies.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure designs are properly integrated.
• Participate in project site inspections and visits to verify actual site conditions and design requirements.
• Communicate with clients, subcontractors, field engineers, and other project personnel regarding technical and design concerns.
• Provide technical and design support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by management.
