Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Officer to provide plans and direction for environmental and safety performance at the Canlubang, Laguna plant. The role ensures the effective implementation of Environmental and Safety Management Systems and procedures, and supports submission of legal reports and renewal of permits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Engineering (preferably Chemical or Mechanical).
At least five (5) years of work experience in environment, health, and safety or similar roles.
Licensed Engineer or Chemist preferred.
Certified Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and/or Safety Officer (SO) preferred.
Knowledgeable in ISO 45001 or 14001.

Responsibilities

Provides plans and direction for Environment, Health and Safety at the plant.
Ensures effective implementation of Environmental and Safety Management System and procedures.
Facilitates the submission of legal reports and renewal of permits.
Develops, implements, and tests emergency preparedness and response procedures.
Conducts site assessments and compliance audits at the facility.
Institutes EHS training and personnel awareness activities.
