Job summary

Zenith Foods Corporation seeks an Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental management systems. The role focuses on aligning with international standards and pursuing IMS certifications through robust compliance frameworks.

You will oversee regulatory compliance (DENR, DOLE), emergency planning, GMP adherence, and cross-functional EHS integration to sustain a safe production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or any Engineering-related course.
• Must be a licensed Engineer.
• Accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and Safety Officer (level 3 or 4).
• At least 10 years of EHS experience in a food manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledgeable in safety compliance, risk assessment, and emergency management.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willing to work onsite in Laguna.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental and labor regulatory agencies (DENR, DOLE).
• Develop and implement EHS programs and improve safety and environmental performance of plants.
• Manage and monitor EHS budget and ensure initiatives stay within budget.
• Establish and test emergency preparedness and response plans.
• Develop safety programs to minimize workplace risks and ensure safe operations.
• Monitor production processes for GMP and food safety compliance.
• Foster safety and environmental responsibility across departments through continuous improvement.
• Support cross-functional operations and EHS process integration.

Job Description:

The Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager will lead the implementation, improvement, and compliance of workplace safety and environmental management systems. This role will drive initiatives aligned with international standards and help the organization work toward certifications such as IMS (Integrated Management System)by establishing solid frameworks for compliance and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure strict compliance with environmental and labor regulatory agencies such as DENR,DOLE, and other relevant bodies.


• Facilitate & prepare plans and direction for the organization in terms of EHS programs and improve the environmental and safety performance of the plants.


• Manage and monitor the EHS budget, ensuring all initiatives are carried out efficiently and within financial limits.


• Establish and periodically test emergency preparedness and response plans to address incidents such as fire, chemical exposure, or workplace accidents.


• Develop and enforce safety programs designed to proactively minimize workplace risks and maintain a safe operational environment.


• Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to internal policies,GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety standards.


• Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all departments through continuous improvement strategies.


• Support various operational needs through cross-functional collaboration and EHS process integration.
