JOB SUMMARY:

As the Ecommerce Sales Specialist for Pricing & Analytics, you are the champion of proper collection, cleaning, analyzing and visualization of data to support strategic and tactical decision making within the ecommerce department. You will create pricing models that optimize revenue and maximize profit. You will also lead a small team that supports research on competitor pricing and market share.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide data analysis and insights to support the Ecommerce and Sales Teams in optimizing product listings, product pricing, promotional strategies, and sales performance.
• Provide guidance and recommendations on competitive pricing for key brands and products, taking into consideration product cost, market conditions, product positioning, customer behavior, and profitability.
• Establish best practices in collecting and storing data that is accessible for use and analysis. Build dashboards that are relevant to operating and optimizing ecommerce channels.
• Assist in campaign and promotional readiness by preparing pricing data, monitoring competitor activities during key sale periods, and ensuring all required updates are completed on time.
• Lead a small team that manages intellectual property (IP) protection processes, that research competitor pricing and promotions, and that monitors brand market share and activity within the ecommerce channels.
• Identify challenges and opportunities within data sets while being able to recommend the proper course of action that increase sales and maximize profit; providing insights to determine feasibility of ecommerce department initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Product, Operations and other relevant teams on pricing, promotional, and data-related matters within the scope of the ecommerce department.
