Responsibilities:

• Develop and expand your actuarial knowledge
• Gain hands‑on experience in data evaluation, generating actuarial results and preparing reports
• Validate and reconcile data
• Support our wider process‑improvement initiatives
• Create Excel test cases for liability calculations
• Analyse results at company and consolidation levels
• Work with our market‑leading valuation software

Workstyles:

We’re open to hybrid working for this role. This means blending working at home with at least four days a month in the office, learning from experienced colleagues and getting to know your fellow interns. Your time in the office will also include attending meetings and undertaking scheduled training.

Qualifications

• In your penultimate or final year of university
• Studying for a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
• Highly numerate, with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

• A quick learner who’s ready to solve challenging technical problems
• Organized, with a keen attention to detail
• A natural team player with a client‑focused approach
• Able to plan, manage and deliver multiple tasks

While not essential, completion of actuarial courses like Theory of Interest or Life Contingencies and passing one or more actuarial exams would be advantageous.
