Job description

Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a tire and wheel trading company with their own brands manufactured overseas. Their office, together with their online brands, they sell direct to US consumers through their own sites and across six marketplaces: Sears, Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Temu, and AliExpress. You'll own how those two brands show up and perform across all eight channels.

You'll lead a team of 9 to 15 people covering the full backend of the business: product listing and catalog maintenance, end-to-end order processing, customer service, and coordination from sourcing through ordering and logistics. There's no layer of sub-leads under you - you manage individual contributors directly across every function.

You'll report to our US E-Commerce & Marketing Director. There's no local manager layer between you and them, so you own the day-to-day and you're the one accountable for how the channels perform.

The shift runs on full US Pacific business hours. A suspended listing, a stuck order, or an angry customer doesn't wait for Manila daytime - and neither does the coordination this role needs with the US team.

What you'll do

Run order processing end to end. From the moment an order lands on any of the eight channels to the moment it ships, you own the process - and you fix it when it breaks.

Own product listings and catalog health. New listings, pricing and content updates, image and spec accuracy, and keeping eight channels' worth of listings in sync with two brands' actual inventory. A wrong fitment or a stale price is a return, a chargeback, or a suspended listing waiting to happen.

Run customer service for both brands. Pre-sale questions, order issues, returns, and each channel's own complaint and dispute process - the rules differ by marketplace, and so does the penalty for getting them wrong.

Coordinate sourcing through ordering. Work with sourcing and procurement so the right inventory is in stock before a channel sells out of it, and make sure purchase orders and lead times don't leave a listing live with nothing behind it.

Own logistics coordination. Fulfillment, shipping, carrier issues, and the exceptions - late shipments, damaged freight, lost packages - that turn into channel performance dings if they're not handled fast.

Monitor and improve channel performance. Account health, order defect rate, on-time delivery, response times, and every other metric each marketplace uses to decide whether you keep selling on it. Know where a channel stands before it becomes a problem, not after.

Recommend, don't decide, on pricing and ad spend. You build the case - the US E-Commerce & Marketing Director approves.

Lead the team. Nine to fifteen people across four functions, with no sub-leads under you. Balance the workload, cross-train so no channel or process depends on one person, and coach instead of just absorbing the work yourself.

What success looks like
  • Order defect rate and account health metrics stay in good standing on every channel, every month
  • On-time ship rate holds against each marketplace's own standard
  • Listings stay accurate and in sync with inventory - no stockouts sold, no wrong fitments shipped
  • Customer service response and resolution times stay inside each channel's required SLA
  • No channel suspension, strike, or performance warning that could have been caught earlier
  • Sourcing and inventory timed so listings don't go live ahead of stock, or stay live after it runs out
  • Channel performance reporting to the US Director is accurate, on time, and flags problems while they're still fixable
  • Your team's error rate goes down each quarter
What you need
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 7+ years in e-commerce or marketplace operations, including 3+ years managing a team of eight or more
  • Hands-on experience running at least one major US marketplace seller account - Amazon, eBay, Walmart, or Sears. You don't need all six, but you need to have actually operated one at this level
  • Experience across the order lifecycle: product listing and catalog management, order processing, and customer service
  • Comfortable working a night shift aligned to full US Pacific business hours
  • Clear spoken and written English - you'll coordinate directly with US management
  • Strong Excel, and comfortable pulling and interpreting channel performance data
Nice to have
  • Automotive, tire, or wheel industry background
  • Direct experience with Temu and/or AliExpress specifically
  • Experience with Odoo or a similar ERP for order and inventory management
  • Experience managing a multi-brand or multi-storefront catalog
Who does well here

People who can hold eight channels' worth of rules in their head at once and not lose track of any of them. Who catch a listing error before it becomes a return, and a channel warning before it becomes a suspension. Who can run a team of this size without a layer of leads under them - because that means you're close to the work, not just reviewing it. And who'd rather flag a problem to the US Director early than hope it resolves itself.

The honest part

It's a night shift on full US Pacific hours, across two brands, two owned sites, and six marketplaces that each have their own rules and their own way of punishing you for missing them. You're managing 9 to 15 people directly, with no sub-leads to delegate through - that's a wide span of control, and the volume can get heavy fast. You'll report to a manager on the other side of the world with no local boss to check with. If that trade-off works for you, the role itself is a strong one: real ownership of two brands' online presence, channels you'll actually get to fix, and a team you'll build from the ground up.
