Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an E-commerce Merchandising Assistant to maintain accuracy and performance of our online store. You will ensure product data, pricing, imagery, and on-site content stay up to date, aligned with internal guidelines and SEO strategies.

You will support site reviews, data management, and content optimisation to deliver a seamless and engaging shopping experience for our customers in Metro Manila with remote flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Site Review and Issue Detection: Regularly review the website to identify anomalies, missing information, broken content, or inconsistencies.
• Product Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date product information across the website and central product database.
• SEO Content Optimisation: Review key page content to support SEO performance and metadata.
• SEO Recommendations and Content Updates: Implement on-page SEO recommendations and update page content.
• Image and Content Handling: Upload and manage product images and content with correct format and resolution.
• Catalogue Merchandising Support: Maintain and optimise catalogue merchandising rules and support campaigns.
• Business Location Management: Keep showroom hours and locations accurate across listings and store finders.
• Issue Escalation and Reporting: Identify discrepancies and escalate for resolution.

Role Overview

As an E-commerce Merchandising Assistant, you will maintain the accuracy, quality, and performance of our online store. Your responsibilities include ensuring product data, pricing, imagery, and on‑site content remain up to date, compliant with internal guidelines, and aligned with commercial and SEO strategies. You will support continuous improvements across site reviews, data management, and content optimisation to deliver a seamless and engaging shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

Site Review and Issue Detection

• Regularly review the website to identify anomalies, missing information, broken content, or inconsistencies.
• Raise or resolve issues promptly.

Product Data Management

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date product information across the website and central product database.
• Manage product titles, descriptions, prices, attributes, and other key details.
• Onboard products into the PIM (Product Information Management) system.
• Enrich product data using AI tools.
• Ensure all data is consistent, structured, and ready for use across the business.

SEO Content Optimisation

• Review key page content to support SEO performance.
• Identify missing or weak metadata.
• Ensure product and collection pages are optimised for search visibility.

SEO Recommendations and Content Updates

• Implement on‑page SEO recommendations.
• Update relevant page content.
• Create SEO‑friendly content using available tools and systems.

Image and Content Handling

• Upload and manage product images and content.
• Ensure correct format, resolution, and alignment with the appropriate products and campaigns.

Catalogue Merchandising Support

• Assist in maintaining and optimising catalogue merchandising rules.
• Support commercial activities and campaign execution.
• Improve product visibility across the website.

Business Location Management

• Maintain accurate business hours and location details across showroom listings.
• Ensure consistency across Google Business profiles, Apple Business listings, and the website store locator.

Issue Escalation and Reporting

• Identify and report discrepancies, errors, or content issues.
• Escalate issues to relevant team members or management for resolution.
