Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Business Central Technical Developer to join our ERP team. You will customize, extend, and integrate Business Central solutions under the guidance of senior developers to meet business requirements.

You will work on AL extensions, integrations via APIs/web services, data migration, reporting, and troubleshooting, collaborating with functional consultants to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV.
Familiarity with AL language (or willingness to learn).
Understanding of SQL databases and data structures.
Exposure to API/web services (REST, OData, SOAP).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Nice to have: Experience with C/AL (legacy NAV).
Knowledge of Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
Familiarity with Azure services.
Internship or project experience in ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining Business Central extensions using AL language.
Support integration projects with external systems via APIs and web services.
Participate in data migration, reporting, and troubleshooting activities.
Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Document technical designs, processes, and solutions.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Business Central customizations.
