Job summary

Deftsoft is seeking a Content Creator to manage end-to-end social media content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube. You will ideate, script, and appear on camera to produce engaging short-form content and build a monthly content calendar.

You will craft Hinglish content for a Gen Z audience, use CapCut/InShot/Canva for editing, and collaborate with design and marketing to grow engagement and inbound leads.

Qualifications

• 0–6 months of hands-on content creation/social media experience in an agency or in-house environment.
• Comfortable and confident on camera — core part of the role.
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Ability to write engaging Hinglish content for a Gen Z audience.
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, including what makes content perform.
• Working knowledge of basic editing and design tools such as CapCut, InShot, Canva or similar tools.
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and platform insights.
• Strong creative thinking and the ability to generate content ideas independently.
• Willingness to stay updated with changing social media trends, formats and audience behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Develop creative content ideas aligned with brand goals and target audiences.
• Write scripts for promotional, educational, informational and meme-format content.
• Feature on camera in reels, short-form videos and other video content.
• Build and maintain a monthly content calendar.
• Create content designed to increase engagement, followers, reach and inbound leads.
• Research and identify relevant social media trends, audio, formats and content styles.
• Experiment with new content formats and ideas to improve performance.
• Track content performance and use analytics to understand what is working.
• Adapt content strategies based on platform insights and audience response.
• Work closely with design and marketing teams on campaigns and promotional activities.
• Ensure content is consistent with the company's brand voice and communication style.
