Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Pursuing CPA Australia or CA ANZ designation preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years Australian professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation laws.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, and related compliance.
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients and day-to-day accounting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow Principals' and Client Managers' instructions to complete work accurately and on time.
• Prepare statutory accounts, working papers, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare income tax returns.
• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS).
• Manage budgeting, WIP, and billing processes.
• Assist with client inquiries and communicate professionally with clients.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Qualified Accountant or actively working toward a professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand)
