Job summary

AVANCE SOLUTION SYSTEM ( AVASS ) CORP. is seeking a Project Manager to drive end-to-end DWDM/OTN network deployment projects across multiple customers. You will own planning, scheduling, and governance, coordinating with engineering, NOC, and OEM teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

The role requires hands-on DWDM/OTN experience, preferably with Ciena equipment, and strong stakeholder management. You will lead multi-site deployments, manage vendor relations, and deliver structured

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of DWDM/OTN projects including survey, installation, commissioning, testing, and customer handover.
• Own project planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking across multiple sites and customers.
• Ensure adherence to Ciena quality standards, ATP processes, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with engineering, NOC, and OEM teams for validation and design alignment.
• Manage dependencies related to fiber readiness, power, rack space, and integration.
• Publish structured project reports covering progress, risks, and financials.

Role Overview

Project Manager responsible for end-to-end execution of DWDM/Optical network deployment projects for key customers (e.g., Ciena), ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and commercial governance across multiple concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end deployment of DWDM/OTN projects including survey, installation, commissioning, testing, and customer handover

• Own project planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking across multiple sites and customers

• Ensure strict adherence to Ciena quality standards, ATP processes, and acceptance criteria

Technical & Domain Alignment

• Strong understanding of DWDM technologies including ROADM, OTN, MPLS-TP integration, and fiber infrastructure

• Coordinate with engineering, NOC, and OEM (Ciena) teams for technical validation, network design alignment, and issue resolution

• Manage dependencies related to fiber readiness, power, rack space, and integration

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Act as single point of contact for customer, partners, and internal teams

• Align installation partners and field teams to ensure execution as per approved scope and SOW

• Drive partner governance including onboarding, performance tracking, and escalation handling

Quality & Compliance

• Enforce zero-defect deployment approach with strict quality audits before customer handover

• Ensure all activities are backed by approved quotes/POs before execution (commercial governance)

• Implement process adherence aligned with APAC / organizational standards

Risk & Escalation Management

• Identify execution bottlenecks early (resource, access, material, technical constraints)

• Drive mitigation plans and escalation handling

• Manage change requests and last-minute scope changes with proper approvals

Reporting & Governance

• Publish structured project reports (daily/weekly dashboards) covering progress, risks, and financials

• Provide visibility to leadership on project health, revenue milestones, and billing readiness

• Ensure timely closure of punch points and documentation for billing

Skills & Experience

• 2+ years' experience in telecom/optical domain project management

• Hands-on exposure to DWDM/OTN deployments, preferably with Ciena equipment

• Strong understanding of field operations, multi-site deployments, and vendor coordination

• Proficiency in MS Project / Excel / PowerPoint for planning and reporting

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
