LaVie is seeking a Duty Engineer to support the daily operations of our property's Engineering Department. This role supervises and performs scheduled servicing of MEPF systems, coordinates maintenance activities, and ensures timely resolution of guest and operational concerns.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Mechanical or Electrical Engineer license, has at least 1 year of relevant experience in hotel or property management and is comfortable managing spare parts and guest inquiries while

Formación

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer or Electrical Engineer certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in hotel, mall, property management, or engineering operations.
• Knowledge of chilled water systems, electrical substations, water distribution, and fire protection systems.
• Strong communication with all levels of the organization and external parties.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare weekly work schedules based on workload and priorities.

• Supervise special projects and day-to-day engineering activities.
• Manage spare parts inventory and prepare orders to maintain emergency stock levels.
• Handle guest and associate inquiries professionally, escalating issues when necessary.

Job Brief

The Duty Engineer is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Engineering Department by ensuring the efficient maintenance and functionality of the property’s facilities, equipment, and systems. The role supervises and performs the scheduled servicing of MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) systems, coordinates maintenance activities, and ensures timely resolution of operational and guest-related engineering concerns. The Duty Engineer also assists in work scheduling, monitors fuel usage and spare parts inventory, and supports special projects to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient building operations.

Job Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer / Electrical Engineer.

• Well communication skill with all levels of the organization and external parties.
