Responsibilities

• Drive the company car for department trips and delivery/collection of items and documents.
• Plan efficient travel and arrive on time for appointments.
• Work closely with the Business Development Team on trips and handovers.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and handover of items; sign/verify delivery docs.
• Keep trip records: date, time, destination, mileage; report delays or incidents.
• Maintain the company car: cleanliness, safety, and servicing; track fuel and expenses.

Job Purpose

The Driver handles the department's transport needs using the company car, including the delivery and collection of company items and documents. The Driver works as a team with the Business Development Team, who joins most trips, and ensures every movement of company items is safe, secure, and properly recorded.

Key Responsibilities

Transport

• Drive the company car for all department trips, including the delivery and collection of company items and documents
• Carry out scheduled and ad hoc trips as arranged by the department
• Plan efficient travel and arrive on time for all appointments

Teamwork

• Work closely with the Business Development Team on trips and handovers
• Assist with loading, unloading, and handover of items
• Help with signing and checking delivery and acknowledgement documents Records
• Keep proper trip records, including date, time, destination, and mileage
• Report any delay, incident, or irregularity to the department immediately

Vehicle Care

• Keep the company car clean, safe, and in good working condition
• Arrange servicing, inspection, and repairs when due
• Keep track of fuel, parking, and other vehicle expenses and submit claims with receipts

Others

• Cover duty for other company drivers when needed
• Assist the Valuation Department when neededPerform other related duties as assigned by the department

Security and Confidentiality

The Driver handles company items and documents, so security and discretion come first.

• Follow all company security procedures for the handling and transport of items
• Keep all trip schedules, routes, destinations, and item details strictly confidential
• Do not share company or trip information with anyone, including family, friends, or on social media
• Do not make unplanned stops or carry passengers who are not authorised
• Never leave items unattended in the vehicle
• Report any security concern or suspicious activity to the department immediately

Requirements
