Job summary

YTO EXPRESS is seeking a dedicated driver to safely transport personnel, documents, and goods across designated routes in Metro Manila. You will drive company vehicles, perform inspections, maintain logs, and ensure safe delivery of items.

The role requires a valid professional driver's license, 2–4 years driving experience, and solid knowledge of local routes. Strong reliability and attention to safety are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid professional driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle
• 2–4 years of experience as a driver preferred
• Familiar with Metro Manila and/or provincial routes
• Knowledge of basic vehicle inspections and maintenance recommended
• Strong safety mindset and punctuality essential

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle
• Maintain cleanliness and proper operating condition of the vehicle
• Monitor fuel, mileage, and maintenance schedules
• Coordinate with supervisor on schedules, routes, deliveries
• Plan efficient routes and adjust due to traffic or weather
• Assist with loading and unloading when required
• Ensure safe handling and delivery of company property
• Report vehicle defects or incidents promptly
• Maintain accurate trip and fuel logs
• Observe confidentiality when transporting documents or sensitive information

About the role

Safely transport company personnel, documents, supplies, equipment, and other authorized items to designated locations. Drive company vehicles responsibly and follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle

• Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and proper operating condition of the vehicle

• Monitor vehicle fuel, mileage, maintenance schedules, and other vehicle-related records

• Coordinate with the assigned supervisor regarding schedules, routes, deliveries, and transportation requirements

• Plan efficient routes and adjust routes when necessary due to traffic, weather, road conditions, or other circumstances

• Assist in loading, unloading, securing, and checking transported items when required

• Ensure that documents, packages, equipment, and other company property are handled safely and delivered to the correct destination

• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic incidents, damage, or other issues immediately to the concerned supervisor

• Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel records, mileage records, and other required documentation

• Observe confidentiality when transporting company documents, personnel, or sensitive information

About you

• High school graduate or equivalent; vocational or college education is an advantage

• Must possess a valid professional driver's license appropriate for the assigned vehicle

• At least 2–4 years of experience as a company, personal, delivery, or service driver is preferred

• Knowledgeable in Metro Manila and/or provincial routes, depending on assignment

• Familiar with basic vehicle inspection and maintenance

• Good knowledge of traffic rules and road safety practices

• Responsible, punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious

• Physically fit and capable of assisting with loading and unloading when necessary

• Good communication and coordination skills

• No serious traffic violations or driving-related offenses
