Job summary

John Clements Consultants, Inc. is seeking a skilled Sales/Distributor Manager to drive growth across Zamboanga City and surrounding areas. You will manage distributors, develop territory plans, and execute trade programs to achieve targets.

The role requires FMCG experience, strong leadership, and willingness to travel extensively across the territory to build market presence and optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, management, sales or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, distribution, trade marketing, key account management or distributor management.
• Experience in FMCG, beverage or consumer goods industry.
• Strong distributor management, territory development, trade execution and sales operations.
• Driver’s license and ability to drive.
• Knowledge of sales and distribution systems, merchandising, AR and trade marketing.
• Strong leadership, coaching, negotiation, communication and relationship management skills.
• Willing to travel extensively and perform fieldwork in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth by hitting monthly, quarterly, and annual targets through distributor management and trade activation programs.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with regional distributors, sub-distributors, and key trade accounts to maximize market coverage.
• Monitor product availability, SKU distribution, merchandising standards, and trade visibility across territories.
• Manage distributor performance, inventory, accounts receivable, warehouse operations, and compliance with policies and distribution agreements.
• Coach and develop distributor sales teams through regular reviews, training, and field coaching.
• Identify market opportunities, monitor competitor activity, and propose sales and trade development initiatives to boost territory performance.
• Ensure proper utilization and monitoring of company trade assets in the territory.
• Prepare business reviews, sales reports, market updates, and maintain distributor and customer records.

• Good understanding of market trends, competitor analysis, and business development strategies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Willing to travel extensively and conduct regular fieldwork within the assigned territory.
