• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process dispatch requests from customers and operations.
• Coordinate vehicle routes and schedules to optimise delivery efficiency and minimise costs.
• Track shipments and vehicles in real-time with updates to management and customers.
• Allocate resources including vehicles and personnel based on demand.
• Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff and customers to resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Monitor production and delivery schedules to meet timelines and SLAs.
• Document dispatch activities and prepare operational reports.
• Identify bottlenecks and report inefficiencies for improvement.
• Respond to urgent requests and adapt schedules for priority shipments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations and transport standards.

About the role

We are seeking a Dispatcher to join MKS Workforce Management Services Inc in a full-time capacity. This role is based in San Bartolome, San Pablo City, Laguna. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial operational role in coordinating and managing the movement of goods, vehicles, and personnel across our logistics and transportation network. This position is integral to ensuring efficient supply chain operations, timely deliveries, and optimal resource allocation. Your expertise in production planning and scheduling will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands and maintain service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process dispatch requests from customers, internal departments, and field operations
• Coordinate vehicle routes and schedules to optimise delivery efficiency and minimise transportation costs
• Track shipments and vehicles in real-time, ensuring accurate updates to management and customers
• Allocate resources, including vehicles and personnel, based on operational demands and availability
• Manage communication between drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to resolve scheduling conflicts and delivery issues
• Monitor production and delivery schedules to ensure adherence to timelines and service level agreements
• Document dispatch activities, maintain detailed records, and prepare operational reports
• Identify and report operational bottlenecks or inefficiencies to supervisors for continuous improvement
• Respond promptly to urgent requests and adapt schedules to accommodate priority shipments or changes
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and transportation standards

• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling principles, and logistics operations
• Proficiency in dispatch management systems and transportation software

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with drivers, customers, and internal teams
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry
• Problem-solving ability and flexibility to adapt to changing operational demands
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume dispatch activities
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are advantageous
