Job summary

This role reports to the AVP of ORRO Governance, Reporting and Risk Program Oversight and leads a centralized function overseeing development, implementation and monitoring of ORRO frameworks, policies and standards.

The position requires strong knowledge of E-21 guidelines, third party and business continuity risk, and the ability to influence across segments and geographies.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years progressive leadership in operational risk management.
• Broad knowledge of financial services/insurance products.
• In-depth OSFI E-21, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, Third Party Risk, Change Risk, and risk assessment tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate development and implementation of ORRO frameworks, policies and standards.
• Support Canada Segment in implementing these standards with risk teams and business partners.
• Coordinate intake of activities reviewed and challenged by ORM programs.
• Establish templates with clear documentation to support segment reviews.
• Collaborate with Segment ORRM, IRM, Compliance, Legal, Ops and Tech colleagues; lead sessions and tracking for change.
• Provide ongoing support for operational risk metrics with data collection and challenge results.
• Design and implement dashboard reporting on progress, gaps, remediations, and metrics.
• Promote a strong risk culture and oversee risk culture assessment processes.
