Job summary

Advantage HQ is seeking a seasoned Director of Data & Analytics to shape the data strategy for a creator-led growth organization. You will lead analytics, establish reliable metrics, and partner with leadership across media, partnerships, and operations to drive business outcomes.

You will build scalable analytics capabilities, mentor a growing team, and translate data into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders, all while fostering a data-driven culture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, data engineering, or related field with leadership exposure.
• Experience building or scaling a data and analytics function.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with modern data warehouses and analytics infrastructure.
• Experience with BI/visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI.
• Experience designing dashboards, KPI frameworks, and reporting systems.
• Strong understanding of marketing analytics, paid media measurement, and ecommerce performance.
• Experience handling large, complex datasets from multiple sources.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data quality management.
• Experience managing, mentoring, and developing analytics professionals.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in agency, DTC, ecommerce, performance marketing, or high-growth tech is valuable.
• Familiarity with AI-driven analytics and predictive modeling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish data infrastructure, reporting standards, and analytical frameworks for a multi-channel org.
• Translate complex datasets into actionable insights to guide strategy, media performance, and partnerships.
• Develop measurement and attribution capabilities across paid media, creative, and customer acquisition.
• Build scalable analytics systems and improve data pipelines, dashboards, automation, and integrations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop analytics professionals within the team.
• Partner with cross-functional leadership to align analytics priorities with business objectives.
• Establish a data-driven operating culture with clear KPI definitions and reliable reporting.
