Job summary

Visa seeks a Director of Software Test Engineering to steer testing strategy and automation across regional teams. You will drive the multi-year transformation, oversee a portfolio of client-testing tools, and manage a diverse group of analysts and consultants to deliver high-quality testing solutions.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled testing, rapid go-to-market, and close collaboration with product, engineering, and support teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years’ experience delivering large initiatives with business value.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept to delivery.
• Proven people-leadership experience and success.
• Minimum 5 years in Software Testing, includingPayments, Mobile, Web-based, and Client-Server apps.
• Strong AI expertise and experience integrating AI in products and workflows.
• Experience developing and deploying client-facing testing tools is advantageous.
• 5+ years in Product/Project/Operations roles.
• Degree in Computer or Process Engineering, MIS, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with data- and AI-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Testing Pillar’s transformation roadmap and strategic plans.
• Direct a team of Analysts, Consultants, and Senior Consultants across regional remit.
• Collaborate with COE and regional Testing groups to define future vision.
• Oversee end-to-end product launches, GTM planning, and post-launch optimization.
• Drive AI-powered automation and analytics to improve testing efficiency.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and metrics for initiative tracking.
• Coach and align cross-functional partners in product, engineering and support.
• Ensure rapid adoption through readiness activities, training, and stakeholder communication.
• Represent regional testing in cross-functional projects and partnerships.
