Job summary

Visa is seeking a Software Test Engineering Consultant in the Philippines to lead test strategy, validate solutions, and drive quality across multiple projects. The role emphasizes automation progress, stakeholder communication, and robust testing practices to ensure reliable payment technologies.

You will mentor teammates, contribute to test artifacts, and guide clients through testing and certification processes while advancing continuous improvement and scalable testing frameworks within Visa.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years with an Advanced degree or 0 years with a PhD.
• Experience in payments, financial services, technology consulting, implementation, certification, client support, or customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with experience resolving complex integration, connectivity, or payment processing issues.
• Experience working with APIs, web services, system integrations, networking concepts, and modern digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Leads test strategy, solution validation, and delivery activities across one or more projects, communicating outcomes and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Provides oversight and guidance to team members responsible for testing, certification, and quality-related activities across multiple products and solutions.
• Takes ownership of testing and solution readiness activities for assigned initiatives, ensuring successful delivery and client outcomes.
• Designs and reviews test approaches, test artifacts, and validation activities while partnering with stakeholders to ensure business and technical requirements are met.
• Drives troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventative measures for technical, operational, and application-related issues.
• Coaches and mentors team members through knowledge sharing, informal training, and development of reusable assets, frameworks, and best practices.
