Job summary

Visa seeks a Director of Software Test Engineering to lead the Testing Pillar, driving automation, AI-powered insights, and data-driven quality initiatives across regions. You will manage a team of Analysts and Consultants, shaping multi-year roadmaps and ensuring rapid, high-quality delivery of Visa’s testing tools.

You will partner with stakeholders across product, engineering, and operations to optimize testing capabilities, establish effective governance, and advance a client-focused testing

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' experience delivering large initiatives with business value.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept to delivery.
• Proven people-leadership experience and success.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Software Testing across Payments, Mobile, Web, Client-Server apps using Manual and Automation testing.
• Strong AI expertise in adoption, implementation, and integration into products/workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Testing Pillar’s multi-year transformation roadmap and strategic plans.
• Drive a team of Analysts, Consultants, and Senior Consultants across a regional or shared-service remit.
• Define team schedules, priorities, and stakeholder alignment to balance initiatives.
• Collaborate with COE and regional Testing groups to implement a future-focused vision.
• Oversee end-to-end go-to-market planning, rapid execution, and post-launch optimization for the testing platform.
• Integrate AI-driven capabilities into product and operational workflows to enhance testing efficiency.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and documentation to monitor product initiatives and outcomes.
• Coach and lead cross-functional teams to improve client experience and testing processes.
