Job summary

Allgood & Tehrani Licensed Behavior Analysts, PLLC seeks qualified ABA professionals to provide individualized and small-group therapy in diverse settings. You will implement programs, collect data, and collaborate with BCBA supervision to ensure client progress.

The role may be full-time or part-time, with travel to client homes or schools. A NYSED-permitted credential (CBAA/LBA) is required, and confidentiality and ongoing professional development are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ABA and related coursework completed.
• Must hold a CBAA or LBA Limited Permit from NYSED.
• Solid understanding of DTT, PECS, PRT and NET ABA approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA therapy in individual and group settings.
• Full-time: 20–25 direct hours and 10–15 indirect hours weekly.
• Attend monthly team meetings with families and supervisors.
• Implement BIPs as directed by the BCBA Supervisor.
• Collect and graph data as instructed.

Classification: Full Time / Part Time

Reports To: BCBA Supervisor / Clinical Director

Summary/Objective:

Essential Functions

• Provide ABA therapy in individual and group settings.
  • Full time provider: 20-25 hours of direct service, 10-15 hours indirect hours
• Treatment planning is limited to 20% of total direct service hours and is split between team lead and the supervising BCBA.
• Attend monthly team meetings with family, supervisor and ABA team (1 hour/month).
• Attend monthly lead meetings (1 hour/month) with supervisor and ABA team (if applicable).
• Implement BIPs as written and directed by the BCBA Supervisor.
• Collect and graph data as instructed.
• Attend supervision meetings as needed.
• Maintain respect and confidentiality, and protect the well being of all clients.
• Maintain client confidentiality.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge.

Required Education And Experience

• A bachelor's degree and educational coursework completed in the field of ABA
• Hold a CBAA or LBA Limited Permit from NYSED Office of the Professions
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of DTT, PECS, PRT, NET, and other ABA technology.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Ability to work at a desk, conference table or in meetings of various configurations.
• Ability to stand and circulate for extended periods of time.
• Ability to see for purposes of reading laws and codes, rules and policies, and other printed matter and observing students.
• Ability to hear and understand speech at normal speech levels, in the English language.
• Ability to communicate so others will be able to clearly understand normal conversation.
• Ability to navigate teleconferencing technology
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Moderate to high stress levels.
• Work fluctuates between your home office and the client’s home and/or school environment
• Regular contact with parents, community members and outside agency personnel.
• Hazards: Incumbent may be exposed to contact with individuals displaying physically aggressive or self-injurious behavior.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This position may be a full-time (35 hours per week) or part-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, hours will fluctuate based on workload and client availability.

Travel

This position may require travel between the incumbent’s home, the AT-LBA office and/or the client’s school and/or home. Travel may occur within the 5 boroughs of New York City, Westchester County, The Hudson Valley and/or Long Island.
