Key Responsibilities:
1. Digital Solutions & Applications Strategy
- Develop and maintain the roadmap for digital solutions and business applications aligned with business and IT strategies.
- Manage the application portfolio and identify opportunities to improve business processes, productivity, and digital capabilities.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that deliver business value.
2. Application & Solution Delivery
- Lead the design, implementation, enhancement, and lifecycle management of business applications and digital solutions.
- Ensure applications are properly tested, deployed, supported, and continuously improved.
- Establish standards for application performance, availability, documentation, and lifecycle management.
3. Business Requirements & Solution Design
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, processes, and technology needs.
- Translate business requirements into practical and scalable technology solutions.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with business priorities and deliver measurable value.
4. Systems Integration & Digital Enablement
- Oversee integrations between business applications, enterprise systems, databases, APIs, and third-party platforms.
- Identify opportunities for automation, workflow improvement, and digitalization.
- Ensure integrations are reliable, scalable, secure, and properly managed.
5. Project, Vendor & Service Management
- Lead application and digital solution projects from planning through implementation and stabilization.
- Manage technology vendors and partners, including performance, deliverables, contracts, and service levels.
- Monitor application performance, service quality, risks, and improvement opportunities.
6. Governance, Security & Risk
- Ensure applications comply with IT architecture, cybersecurity, data protection, governance, and change management standards.
- Work with IT Security, Infrastructure, GRC, and other IT teams to address application-related risks and compliance requirements.
- Maintain appropriate application documentation, controls, and lifecycle records.
7. Team & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, develop, and manage the Digital Solutions and Applications team.
- Establish team objectives, performance measures, and development plans.
- Partner with business leaders, IT teams, and external providers to successfully deliver technology initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong experience in business applications, digital solutions, systems integration, and application lifecycle management.
- Experience leading IT projects, vendors, and technology teams.
- Good understanding of enterprise applications, integrations, cybersecurity, and IT architecture.
- Strong business acumen, project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant IT, project management, or technology certifications are an advantage.
