Position Summary
The Digital Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business needs, identifying opportunities for digital innovation, and translating business requirements into effective technology solutions. This role acts as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that digital products, systems, and initiatives align with organizational goals and deliver measurable business value.
The Digital Business Analyst plays a key role in digital transformation efforts by improving business processes, enhancing customer experiences, supporting product delivery, and enabling data‑driven decision‑making.
Engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
Gather, document, analyze, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements.
Develop user stories, use cases, process maps, workflow diagrams, and business requirements documents.
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to elicit requirements and define solutions.
Ensure requirements are clearly communicated to development and project teams.
Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and digitization.
Recommend technology‑enabled solutions to improve efficiency, customer experience, and business performance.
Support digital transformation initiatives across multiple business functions.
Assess the impact of proposed changes and assist with organizational readiness and change management activities.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, Developers, UX Designers, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑Ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Assist with backlog management, prioritization, and refinement.
Ensure delivered solutions meet defined business requirements and acceptance criteria.
Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, insights, risks, and opportunities.
Develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support decision‑making.
Track and measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives and process improvements.
Provide recommendations based on data analysis and business insights.
Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders.
Communicate project status, requirements, risks, and recommendations to leadership and project teams.
Facilitate collaboration between business units and technical resources.
Manage stakeholder expectations and build strong working relationships.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test planning, execution, and issue resolution.
Validate that solutions meet business requirements and desired outcomes.
Assist with deployment, training, and post‑implementation support activities.
Monitor solution performance and identify opportunities for enhancement.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience in business analysis, digital transformation, product development, systems implementation, or related disciplines.
Strong knowledge of business process analysis and requirements management methodologies.
Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project environments.
Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technology solutions.
Experience supporting digital products, customer‑facing applications, websites, mobile platforms, or enterprise systems.
Knowledge of Agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Confluence.
Experience with business process modeling tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or Bizagi.
Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.
Experience with automation platforms, cloud technologies, or customer experience initiatives.
