Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center Manila is seeking a DevOps Engineer Manager to bridge development, operations and security across advisory, assurance, tax and business services. You will own project planning and execution, mentor teams, and drive secure, efficient software delivery with hands-on leadership.

You will lead cloud infrastructure initiatives using Azure, Terraform, and CI/CD tools, while guiding teams through challenging conversations and stakeholder collaboration to meet client expectations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 7–11 years of experience in DevOps/leadership roles.
• Fluent English (oral and written).
• Extensive Azure cloud engineering, automation, and modernization experience.
• Hands-on with CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting.

Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between development, operations, and security teams to facilitate seamless and secure application and software development. Within our Advisory practice, you will focus on integrating industry‑leading practices to validate secure, consistent, and efficient delivery of software and applications. As a Manager, you will enhance your leadership style by motivating, developing, and inspiring others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. • Overseeing the deployment and management of cloud infrastructure using tools like AWS CloudFormation and Azure DevOps Server
• Coordinating continuous integration and deployment processes to streamline application development
• Utilizing tools such as Ansible and Terraform for efficient software provisioning and configuration
• Implementing security controls and incident management strategies to safeguard applications and data
• Collaborating with teams to troubleshoot system reliability and optimize performance
• Mentoring team members to develop skills and encourage innovation in DevSecOps practices
• Analyzing system components to identify interactions and improve overall system efficiency
• Validating project planning, budgeting, and execution to meet client expectations and timelines

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 7 to 11 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
• Extensive experience in Azure cloud engineering, architecture, automation, and cloud modernization initiatives.
• Hands‑on expertise with CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting technologies.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, manage cloud transformation projects, and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
