Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center Manila seeks a DevOps Engineer Manager to bridge development, operations and security for advisory client work. You will lead delivery, coach teams and ensure secure, scalable software practices across geographies.

You will own projects from planning to completion, drive CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on Azure, and mentor engineers in DevSecOps. Strong leadership and hands‑on experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7–11 years of DevOps/Cloud experience.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Extensive Azure cloud engineering, automation, and modernization.
• Hands-on with CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes and scripting.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams and cloud transformation projects.

Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between development, operations, and security teams to facilitate seamless and secure application and software development. Within our Advisory practice, you will focus on integrating industry‑leading practices to validate secure, consistent, and efficient delivery of software and applications. As a Manager, you will enhance your leadership style by motivating, developing, and inspiring others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. • Leading the integration of development, operations, and security practices to enhance software delivery

• Overseeing the deployment and management of cloud infrastructure using tools like AWS CloudFormation and Azure DevOps Server


• Coordinating continuous integration and deployment processes to streamline application development


• Utilizing tools such as Ansible and Terraform for efficient software provisioning and configuration


• Implementing security controls and incident management strategies to safeguard applications and data


• Collaborating with teams to troubleshoot system reliability and optimize performance


• Mentoring team members to develop skills and encourage innovation in DevSecOps practices


• Analyzing system components to identify interactions and improve overall system efficiency


• Validating project planning, budgeting, and execution to meet client expectations and timelines

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree


• At least 7 to 11 years of experience


• Oral and written proficiency in English required


• Extensive experience in Azure cloud engineering, architecture, automation, and cloud modernization initiatives.


• Hands‑on expertise with CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting technologies.


• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, manage cloud transformation projects, and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
