Job summary

Avaloq Group is seeking a DevOps Engineer in the Technology R&D Lab to advance CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for a cloud-native, API-first SaaS platform. You’ll collaborate with software and SRE teams to design reliable build, test, and deployment workflows using GitHub Actions and modern cloud tooling.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in DevOps, release or CI/CD roles.
Hands-on with GitHub Actions, pipelines, environments, and approvals.
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, TypeScript) and cloud familiarity.
Understanding of secure CI/CD practices and access controls.

Responsibilities

Design and improve CI/CD pipelines for build, test, release and deployment.
Develop and maintain GitHub Actions workflows and automation standards.
Support branching, PR, merge, tagging and release strategies across teams.
Automate deployment across dev, test, staging and production with quality gates.
Improve pipeline reliability, performance, observability and security controls.
