Job summary

Avaloq is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for a cloud-native SaaS platform. You will automate release processes and ensure reliable delivery across development to production, collaborating with SREs and engineering teams in a hybrid setup.

The role emphasizes automation, Git-based workflows, and secure deployment practices, with a focus on improving developer productivity and environment promotion flows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, Build or Release Engineering.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in production environments.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for build, test, package, release, and deployment workflows.
• Develop and maintain GitHub Actions workflows, reusable actions, templates, and automation standards.
• Support branching, PRs, merges, tagging, and release strategies across teams.
• Automate deployment pipelines for development, test, staging, and production with quality gates.
• Improve pipeline reliability, observability, and failure handling across build and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot failed builds and deployments and reduce operational effort.
