Job summary

RCG Global Services is seeking a Platform Automation Engineer to manage and improve automation on a Kubernetes-based platform. You will design, implement, and maintain automation scripts and tools using DCP AI, BASH, Python, and Yaml/Helm.

• 5-10 years of experience in platform automation.
• Strong experience in DCP AI, BASH, Python, and Yaml/Helm.
• Good understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with deployment tools such as Argocd, Crossplane, or Harness.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of best practices related to data encryption and cybersecurity.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Platform Automation Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving our platform automation capabilities using DCP AI, BASH, Python, and Yaml/Helm. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain automation scripts, appliances, and systems.
• Work closely with development teams to design, implement, and deploy applications to a Kubernetes-based environment.
• Use deployment tools such as Argocd, Crossplane, or Harness to automate and streamline our operations and processes.
• Build and maintain tools for deployment, system monitoring, and application status.
• Manage and optimize deployments in Kubernetes, including development and production environments.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and come up with solutions quickly.
• Ensure system security through the use of industry-standard encryption techniques.
• Design and implement secure automation solutions for Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, system configurations, and system inventory.
