Job summary

KMC Solutions is seeking a Design Intern to join our team in the Philippines. The role offers hands-on experience designing concepts, mood boards, and presentations under supervision, with exposure to cross-functional teams and vendor coordination.

Ideal candidates are eager to learn, proficient with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit, and comfortable translating ideas into visuals. You’ll gain practical project experience, participate in meetings, and contribute to design documentation across stages.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing design concepts, mood boards and presentations.
• Research design trends, materials, and references to support project development
• Prepare layouts, diagrams, and technical drawings under supervision
• Update Cad files, 3D models and project documentations as needed
• Assist in fomratting and refining presentations
• Help prepare visual content ( renderings, mockups, graphics, etc)
• Attend projecr meetings and take notes when required
• Assist coordinating with vendors, suppliers, or gencon for material samples
• Perform other related tasks assigned by the design team

The main responsibilities of a DESIGN INTERN include:

• Assist in preparing design concepts, mood boards and presentations
• Research design trends, materials, and references to support project development
• Prepare layouts, diagrams, and technical drawings under supervision

• Proficient in Autocad, SketchUp, or Revit for drfating and modeling
• Familiarity with MS Office
• Ability to translate ideas into sketch, layouts, and design concept
• Strong sense of aesthetics, color tehory, typography, and spatial design
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, and furniture systems
• Ability to work effectively with designers, managers, and cross-functional teams
• Willingness to coordinate with vendors/suppliers for samples
• Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and improve design outputs

It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:

Autocad, MS Office, SketchUp, Revit and other related design tools
