Job summary

RTX in the Philippines is seeking an Engineering Professional to support interior system design and analysis, collaborating with system engineers and other teams. The role involves modeling, drafting, and safety analyses to meet weight and cost targets in a hybrid work arrangement at our Tanauan site.

You will bring an engineering degree (electrical preferred), at least 2 years in a design environment, and solid CAD/CATIA V5/NX experience.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate, preferably Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field.
• At least 2 years of involvement in a design organization producing component level design and R&D.
• Experience in CAD/CATIA V5/NX or other complex CAD software applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to advanced modeling and drafting based on company standards under supervision of a leader.
• Designs and analyzes interior system and components in cooperation with system engineers.
• Performs system safety analysis, including hazard assessment and fault stress analysis.
• Collaborates with other Engineering groups, Manufacturing, Operations and Supply Chain; Manages and meets cost and product weight targets.
• Participates in the validation of the product using different engineering methods.
