Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Batangas, Philippines, is seeking an Engineering professional to perform basic to advanced modeling and drafting to company standards. The role collaborates with system engineers and other groups to design interior systems and components, conduct safety analyses, and meet cost and weight targets.

The ideal candidate is an engineering graduate (preferably Electrical) with at least 4 years in a design organization, proficient in CAD/CATIA V5/NX or similar tools, and possesses

• Participates in product validation using various engineering methods.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Performs basic to advanced modeling and drafting based on company standards under supervision of a leader.
• Designs and analyses interior system and components in cooperation with system engineers.
• Performs system safety analysis, including hazard assessment and fault stress analysis.
• Collaborates with other Engineering groups, Manufacturing, Operations and Supply Chain; Manages and meets cost and product weight targets.
• Participates in the validation of the product using different engineering methods.
• Engineering graduate, preferably Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
• Preferably with at least 4 years of involvement in a design organization producing component level design and Research and Development.
• Experience in any of these design software applications: CAD/CATIA V5/NX or other complex CAD software applications.
• Experience in Electrical Design
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Good organizational and time-management skills
