Qualifications

• Engineering graduate, preferably electrical engineering or related field.
• At least 4 years in a design organization with component-level design and R&D.
• Experience with CAD/CATIA V5/NX or equivalent CAD software.
• Strong electrical design experience and analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to advanced modeling and drafting under supervision.
• Designs and analyzes interior systems and components with system engineers.
• Performs system safety analysis, hazard assessment and fault stress analysis.
• Collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations and Supply Chain to meet cost and weight targets.
• Participates in product validation using various engineering methods.
