Job summary

Delta Design Philippines LLC seeks a mechanical design engineer to develop contactors and related hardware. You will generate detailed drawings and BOMs, and oversee design validation from concept through production.

Role involves collaboration across engineering, manufacturing and customer interfaces to ensure on-time delivery and design refinement in response to evolving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follows engineering procedures and specifications to develop contactors and associated hardware related mechanical designs.
• Generates design documentation, detail part drawings per ASME 14.5 standard, assembly drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Designs and monitors the development of contactors and associated hardware and/or modified designs.
• Advances contactors and hardware design to meet changes in customer preferences or requirements.
• Provides services to contactors and associated hardware users on applications and technology.
• Participates in all project phases including requirement definition, design, development, research, fabrication, testing/integration, customer interface, maintenance, safety and economic utilization.
• Modifies fabricated parts from redlined drawings or verbal instruction.
• Generates Engineering Change Orders and Bills of Materials.
• Ensures on-time availability of contactors and hardware design to manufacturing and customers.
• Supports manufacturing floor as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. 1. Follows engineering procedures and specifications to develop Contactors and associated hardware related mechanical designs.
2. 2. Generates Design Documentation, detail part drawings per ASME 14.5 standard, Assembly drawings and Bills of Materials.
3. 3. Designs and monitors the development of contactors and associated hardware and/or modified designs.
4. 4. Effects contactors and associated hardware design refinement and/or advancement to meet constant changes in customer preferences or requirements.
5. 5. Provides services to contactors and associated hardware users on applications and technology.
6. 6. Actively participates in all phases of the project, including requirement definition, design, development, research, fabrication, testing/integration, customer interface, maintenance, safety and economic utilization used in the manufacture of contactors and associated hardware.
7. 7. Modifies fabricated parts from redlined drawings or verbal instruction.
8. 8. Generates Engineering Change Orders and Bill of materials
9. 9. Assures on-time availability of contactors and associated hardware design to manufacturing and customers.
10. 10. Supports manufacturing floor as required.
