About the role

We are seeking a talented Design and Estimate Engineer – Auxiliary (ECE/Electronics) to join our engineering team at Net Pacific, Inc. This is a full-time position based in Taguig City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be responsible for designing electrical and electronic systems, preparing detailed estimates, and providing technical support for auxiliary systems and equipment. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our projects meet technical specifications, budget requirements, and timelines whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Design electrical and electronic auxiliary systems in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for auxiliary electrical and electronic equipment and installations
• Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies for proposed electrical and electronic solutions
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and contractors to ensure accurate estimation and timely project delivery
• Review and analyse technical drawings, schematics, and design documentation
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimisation strategies without compromising quality or performance
• Provide technical support during project implementation and troubleshooting phases
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, estimates, and project specifications
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing information and technical specifications

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred
• Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in electrical or electronic design and estimation
• Strong proficiency in electrical design software and CAD tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar programmes
• Solid understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations relevant to auxiliary systems
• Excellent knowledge of electrical components, equipment, and procurement practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems or power generation auxiliaries is advantageous
