Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Derivatives Strategy and Solutions Manager in the Philippines to analyze, coordinate, and translate business requirements between derivatives technology users and developers. The role reports to the AVP of Derivatives Strategy & Solutions and collaborates with MBPS teams across regions.

You will drive stakeholder alignment, develop feasibility studies, and mentor teams while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and delivering effective, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify complex operational issues and develop creative workflow or technology solutions
• Review and redefine project plans to ensure completeness
• Coordinate post-implementation support for projects and initiatives
• Represent the business unit in major initiatives ensuring needs are addressed
• Develop feasibility studies and business cases for new initiatives with cost/benefit analysis
• Maintain relationships with external vendors to stay updated on industry practices
• Provide training and support during major technology implementations and escalations
• Ensure processes comply with regulatory and compliance requirements
• Mentor teams on application management processes and derivatives operations
