Sunsure Energy Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Dy Manager/Manager – Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) for our Gurugram Head Office.

The role entails implementing, monitoring, and improving OH&S systems across construction, asset management sites, and corporate offices. Frequent site visits, audits, and safety trainings are essential. The ideal candidate will lead OH&S policies, ensure compliance with statutory and client requirements, and drive continuous safety improvements.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant OH&S experience in construction, renewable energy, industrial, or asset management projects.
• Active involvement in at least two wind construction projects.
• Experience in OH&S audits, inspections, and safety training is mandatory.
• Good understanding of OH&S laws, risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor OH&S policies across all project and asset management sites.
• Carry out site inspections, audits, and ensure compliance with OH&S requirements.
• Conduct inductions, awareness sessions, and safety trainings for site employees and Sunsure staff.
• Prepare inspection/audit reports with actionable recommendations and track closure.
• Maintain OH&S KPI data and prepare weekly, monthly, and management reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Role Summary
  We are looking for a competent and experienced professional for the position of Dy Manager/Manager – Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) at our Gurugram Head Office. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving OH&S systems across construction, asset management work sites and corporate office. The role requires frequent interaction with project teams, regular site visits, internal audits, training delivery at site and office, and effective OH&S data management.
• OH&S Management
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Occupational Health & Safety policies, procedures, and compliance requirements across all project and asset management sites.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable statutory, client, and organizational OH&S requirements.
  • Monitor implementation of safety control measures at work sites and corporate office.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to workplace safety culture and performance.
• Conduct OH&S induction programs, awareness sessions, and specialized safety trainings for site employees and Sunsure staff.
• Prepare training calendars, safety campaign agenda, presentations, and safety communication materials.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and maintain training records.
• Site Inspection & Internal Audit
  • Carry out frequent visits to construction and asset management work sites for inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
  • Identify unsafe acts/conditions and recommend corrective and preventive actions during the site visit and communication received from work sites.
  • Prepare inspection and audit reports with actionable recommendations and follow-up closure tracking.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely compliance of audit observations.
• OH&S KPI & Reporting
  • Maintain and analyse OH&S KPI data received from all project and asset management sites.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and management-level OH&S performance reports and dashboards.
  • Track incidents, near misses, corrective actions, training records, and compliance status.
  • Support management during internal and external reviews related to OH&S performance.
• Participate in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Ensure proper documentation and closure of corrective/preventive actions.
• Share learnings and preventive measures across sites.

EDUCTION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Experience
  • Minimum 7–10 years of relevant OH&S experience in construction, renewable energy, industrial, or asset management projects.
  • The candidate must have actively engaged in or handled at least two wind construction projects during their professional career.
  • Experience in conducting OH&S audits, inspections, and safety training is mandatory.
  • Good understanding of OH&S legal requirements, risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety management systems.
• Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering, ADIS or related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, Diploma in Industrial Safety, or equivalent will be preferred.
