Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia, a cornerstone of asset servicing since 2008, seeks a Depositary Control Officer to support client portfolio compliance. Based in IOI City, Putrajaya, you will analyze funds, assess breaches, and interpret UCITS rules to ensure investment limits are respected.

Qualifications

• Understanding of financial products and derivatives instruments.
• Mandatory English language proficiency (written/oral).
• German/Italian/French language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Understand and perform the complexity fund with minimum support.
• Investigate and analyze all exceptions identified in ALTO; determine status (active, passive, warning, technical breach).
• Analyze fund prospectus and external data (Bloomberg, Telekurs).
• Understand and analyze UCITS legal rules and requirements.
• Understand client and country investment limit specifics.
• Perform control review on breach items and input in ALTO.
• Provide explanations and information to oversight on new breaches via email.
• Understand and perform control for PCS fund.

As a Depositary Control Officer, you will be responsible for:

• To understand and perform the complexity fund with minimum support.
• To perform investigation and analyze on all exception identified in ALTO. In case of breach, determination of the status (active, passive, warning and technical breach).
• To perform analysis on the fund prospectus and information from External data provider (Bloomberg, Telekurs etc.)
• To understand and analyze on the legal rules of UCITS and Legal requirements.
• To understand clients and countries specificities in term of investment limits.
• To perform control review on all the breach items and input in the systems (ALTO).
• To provide explanation and information to oversight team on any new breaches identified by the day through email communication.
• To understand and perform the control for PCS fund.
