Job summary

INTELASSIST INC. is seeking a Demand Planning & Purchasing Specialist to manage retail inventory planning and purchasing for Beauty4U’s store operations.

You will forecast demand, maintain item master data, and issue purchase orders to align store inventory with anticipated sales. The role requires strong Excel and data-analytic skills, hands-on inventory management experience, and collaboration with merchandising and store teams to optimize promotions and seasonality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior experience in demand planning, inventory planning, or retail purchasing.
• Hands-on experience with physical inventory management and stock reconciliation.
• Demonstrated ability to forecast supply needs based on projected demand.
• Experience maintaining and cleaning up item master data in an ERP, POS, or inventory system.
• Experience creating and managing purchase orders for retail or ecommerce store purchases.
• Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills; comfort working with sales and inventory reports.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working directly with a small retail/merchandising team.
• 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, supporting U.S. based clients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical sales and inventory data to build demand forecasts for retail store purchasing.
• Monitor on-hand physical inventory levels across stores and flag shortages or overstock risk.
• Translate forecasted demand into replenishment plans and purchasing recommendations.
• Create, issue, and track purchase orders with vendors to support store inventory needs.
• Clean up and maintain accurate item master data (SKUs, costs, vendor info, product attributes).
• Reconcile purchase order receipts against inventory records and resolve discrepancies.
• Identify slow-moving or aging inventory and recommend corrective purchasing action.
• Collaborate with merchandising and store teams to align purchasing with promotions and seasonality.
• Prepare regular reporting on forecast accuracy, stock levels, and purchase order status.

Work Setup:Onsite onboarding for two to four weeks, followed by a transition to a remote setup.
