Job summary

MEGA PRIME FOODS INCORPORATED is seeking a proactive Demand Planning Analyst/Associate to maintain demand planning data, support forecast systems, and track forecast performance. You will work closely with the Demand Planning Specialist and Manager to prepare historical analytics and incorporate cross-functional inputs from Commercial and Marketing.

Role Purpose

The Demand Planning Analyst/Associate maintains demand planning data, maintains forecast systems, and monitors forecast performance. Working closely with the Demand Planning Specialist and Manager, this role prepares historical analytics, coordinates cross-functional commercial inputs, and tracks key demand metrics to support business forecasting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Preparation & Maintenance: Gather and cleanse historical sales data, update master planning files, and maintain core system records to ensure clean input data for forecasting.

• Forecast Generation Support: Assist in building baseline demand forecasts, execute system uploads, and apply approved adjustments across planning platforms.

• Demand Exception Monitoring: Track unusual demand fluctuations, stock-outs, and significant forecast variances to highlight risks for senior planners.

• Performance Reporting: Generate routine reports on forecast accuracy, forecast bias, and demand trends to give visibility to supply chain stakeholders.

• Cross-Functional Input Coordination: Collect promotional calendars, sales inputs, and new product introduction data from Commercial and Marketing teams.

• System Integrity & Governance: Audit system parameters, perform data validation, and maintain system logs in Anaplan and SAP ERP.

• Process Optimization: Support continuous improvement by automating routine reports, standardizing templates, and cleansing master data.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: Fresh graduate to 1 year of experience in supply chain, finance, or business analytics.

• Technical Skills: Foundational exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Anaplan) and proficiency in spreadsheet analysis and data management.

• Core Competencies: Strong numerical acuity, detail-oriented mindset, problem-solving skills, and clear cross-functional communication.
