Job summary

Code and Theory is seeking a Project Manager to spearhead the delivery of large, complex development initiatives. You will collaborate with strategists, designers, and developers to translate roadmaps into actionable stories and maintain rigorous backlog management.

You will drive Agile ceremonies, manage risks, and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams, including frontend, CMS integrations, and analytics, to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Expertise in the software development lifecycle and engineering best practices.
• Experience with Agile values and frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).
• Proficiency with Atlassian tools: Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with CMS platforms (Contentful, Drupal, WordPress, AEM, Adobe Workfront, Yext).

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of large, complex development projects with cross-functional teams.
• Break down designs into actionable tasks, set timelines, and manage backlogs.
• Understand product tech specs across frontend, CMS, integrations, analytics.
• Apply Scrum and Kanban to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Lead Agile ceremonies with Client Engagement/Production lead and Technical Director.
• Create and manage issues, tasks, and user stories in Jira.
• Translate roadmaps into actionable development stories.
• Maintain Jira backlogs and perform ticket estimation.
• Maintain project status reports for internal and client use.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues with the team.
• Collaborate with other PMs and technical leads to align goals.
