Job summary

You will plan routes, load and unload goods up to 25 kg, maintain records, perform pre-trip inspections, and adhere to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid professional driver's license with restriction codes 2 or 3.
• Minimum 2 years of delivery or driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift/move goods up to 25 kg regularly.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our warehousing, storage and distribution operations. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting baking ingredients and food products safely and efficiently to our customers, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to transport baking ingredients and food products to customer locations across Metro Manila and surrounding areas
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time arrivals whilst minimizing fuel consumption and vehicle wear
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including signed delivery confirmations, customer information and any special delivery instructions
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition and report any maintenance issues promptly
• Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries, address inquiries and provide excellent customer service
• Comply with all traffic regulations, safety protocols and company driving policies to maintain a safe driving record
• Monitor vehicle fuel consumption, maintenance schedules and mileage to help reduce operational costs
• Report any accidents, damages or irregularities immediately to Superior

What we're looking for

• Valid professional driver's license with restriction codes 2 or 3
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a delivery or driving role, preferably in warehousing, logistics or distribution sectors
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents in the past 3 years
• Strong knowledge of Metro Manila traffic patterns, road networks and delivery routes
• Skilled in driving reefer trucks or dry closed vans
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry goods weighing up to 25 kg regularly
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions
• Reliability, punctuality and a positive, professional attitude
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is preferred
