The Leadership Institute, an Australian B2B events company, is hiring two delegate salespeople in the Philippines. You will sell a portfolio of leadership summits to Australian and New Zealand organisations, working day shifts with uncapped commission and a base salary described below.
You will start with warm leads, make 80–100 calls daily, send 10–20 proposals, and close large group bookings. HubSpot is used for tracking and you’ll report to the owner.
₱136,000 a month on target. ₱275,000 in a strong month. No cap.
We are hiring two of the best delegate sales people in the Philippines. If you have sold conference tickets to Australian organisations, you love the phone, and you want to be paid properly for what you bring in, read on.
If you want a comfortable base and a quiet day, this is not the job for you.
The Leadership Institute is an Australian B2B events company. We run around 24 professional development summits a year across Australia and New Zealand.
You will sell the whole portfolio, not one event:
Women in Leadership Summits
First Nations and Māori Leadership Summits
EA/PA Leadership Summits
Neurodiversity and LGBTIQA+ Leadership Summits
AI Leadership Summits, plus new events launching all year
That means you always have something new to take back to the same organisation, and every booking pays commission.
Our delegates come from organisations such as the Department of Defence, the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, NAB and the Australian Electoral Commission. Our speakers include senior leaders from Telstra, IBM and WPP, and names like Amy Shark and Lorna Jane Clarkson.
Ground floor. You will be our first dedicated outbound sales hires, reporting directly to the owner.
Warm leads waiting. You start on day one with a ranked list of warm leads: people who already engage with our events and are waiting for a call.
Big tickets. Single tickets sell for A$1,999 to A$3,899. Tables of 8 sell for A$12,999 to A$21,999.
Day shift. You work Sydney business hours. No night shift and no US hours.
Uncapped commission. The more you sell, the higher your rate goes. There is no ceiling.
Make 80 to 100 calls a day to decision-makers in Australian and New Zealand government, universities and corporates.
Send 10 to 20 proposals a day, each with the right event, brochure and group pricing for that buyer.
Sell single tickets, group bookings and tables of 8. Large group deals are the goal of every conversation.
Work the warm leads we give you, then hunt for more: find phone numbers, get through switchboards and reach the person who holds the budget.
Follow up by email until you get an answer, with clear, professional, well-written messages.
Log every call, email and note in HubSpot, every day.
Track your own numbers in spreadsheets and use them to find where the next deal is.
Base: ₱55,000 per month.
Commission: paid on the ticket revenue you book each month (ex GST). Each rate applies to the revenue inside that band.
First A$10,000: 7%
A$10,000 to A$25,000: 10%
A$25,000 to A$50,000: 15%
Above A$50,000: 20%, uncapped
A$25,000 month (on target): about ₱81,000 commission + ₱55,000 base = about ₱136,000
A$50,000 month: about ₱220,000 commission + ₱55,000 base = about ₱275,000
A$75,000 month: about ₱405,000 commission + ₱55,000 base = about ₱460,000
Peso figures are approximate, converted at ₱37 to A$1.
For scale: two tables of 8 is about A$25,000. Four is about A$50,000.
Table bonus: ₱5,000 for every in-person table of 8 you sell, and ₱10,000 for every four-day table.
Ramp guarantee: a guaranteed minimum of ₱25,000 commission per month for your first three months, while you learn the products.
How it is paid: half of your commission is paid when the booking is confirmed and half when the client pays. Commission is reversed on cancellations and refunds.
Target: A$25,000 in booked revenue per month from month three.

Hands-on experience using HubSpot as a sales tool.
