Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Financial Planning & Analytics Specialist to oversee high-frequency forecasting and financial planning for leased network assets. This hybrid role bridges data execution and executive strategy, translating outputs into actionable insights with minimal oversight.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in analytics advisory and 2+ years in finance/FA, with strong SQL/BigQuery skills and experience coordinating across SAP, Coupa, and BI teams.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years analytics advisory experience.
• At least 2 years any F&A experience; accounting experience preferred but not required.
• PnL knowledge not required.
• Experience in telecom, network infra, or lease/vendor spend management preferred but not required.
• Proficient in SQL/BigQuery; governance/oversight focus for the project.
• At least 3 years supervisory experience; capable of guiding data engineers.
• SAP/Coupa familiarity is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of monthly outlooks and real-time forecast updates for Fiber, Colocation, and Peering spend.
• Manage data pipeline and dashboards to ensure accuracy and speed; reduce latency in high-velocity reporting cycles.
• Translate complex datasets into PnL views and executive-ready narratives identifying spend drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Act as primary strategic partner for leadership and stakeholder teams with data-driven recommendations.
• Coordinate across Finance and Operations to maintain data integrity across SAP, Coupa, and BigQuery.

POSITION TITLE: Financial Planning & Analytics Specialist (FP&A | SQL/BigQuery)

WORK SETUP: Hybrid

OVERALL PURPOSE

The Financial Data & Reporting PM oversees high-frequency forecasting and financial planning for Leased Network Assets. This role bridges the gap between data execution and executive strategy, ensuring complex outputs are translated into actionable business insights with minimal oversight.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project & Delivery Management

• Cycle Ownership: Lead the end-to-end delivery of monthly outlooks and real-time forecast updates for Fiber, Colocation, and Peering spend.
• Process Optimization: Manage the data pipeline and dashboarding work done by data analyst and supporting teams, to ensure accuracy and speed, reducing latency in high-velocity reporting cycles.

Business Analysis & Strategy

• Strategic Translation: Convert complex datasets into PnL views and executive-ready narratives that identify spend drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Quality Assurance: Lead rigorous data validation processes to ensure all reporting outputs are accurate and reflect the current commercial landscape.

Stakeholder Partnership

• Executive Liaison: Act as the primary strategic partner for leadership and stakeholder teams - including Finance & Business Intelligence - providing confident recommendations based on data-driven trends.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate across Finance and Operations to maintain data integrity across SAP, Coupa, and BigQuery.

SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 5 years analytics advisory experience
• At least 2 years any F&A experience preferably accounting experience but not required
• Knowledge/experience in PnL (Profit and Loss) NOT required
• Experience in telecom, network infrastructure, or lease/vendor spend management is preferred, NOT required
• Proficient in SQL/BigQuery the role is more on the governance/oversight since the project has a dedicated data engineer responsible for the programming
• At least 3 years supervisory experience project confirmed they are open to getting ICs in their previous role but willing to manage a small team composed of data engineers
• Familiarity in SAP/Coupa is nice to have only, NOT required
